Hmm… the survival girl in me couldn’t sleep, so I made us get up and drive the 3 minutes into town to the fire department that’s in the center (to see if we could get a clue). I was thinking maybe it’s what calls the volunteer fire fighters, and sure enough a fire truck was gone and it looked like activity had been going on, though there wasn’t anyone out… no big orange lights on the horizon, so we decided we could sleep… Curt is so nice to humor me.
Then time to get up and get some food, head out and get driving to Dunedin which takes about 4 hours or so, and it was a beautiful drive. We dipped our feet into the ocean and enjoyed the view, and when we got into Dunedin we checked into our B&B and headed out to explore the Railway Station (beautiful), and the Octagon and city walk which was great for us to see the city for the evening.

It was a travel day so we took it easy for the most part!
